I recommend this school for anyone serious about animation. It is the best decision I ever made.
I dreamed of going to an animation school for many years and Animschool finally made this possible. The teachers are top notch professionals. They teach you to actually think like an animator, not just how to use software or simply move characters. I feel my animation being is pushed to the next level with every class.
I am so happy with Animschool that I already set up to do both the animation and modeling courses. It will take some time to complete both programs but feel at the end it will pay off, especially since my goal is a freelance business with a buddy of mine and it will be handy to know
modeling, rigging, and animation. Animschool is the only school that teaches all three things. They just give you so much at this school it's amazing.

I'm only on my second term at AnimSchool in the Character Program, but have already learned a ton of material and have produced work I never thought I could.
There is a great advantage in being taught by industry professionals here at AnimSchool because you are guaranteed to be taught what you need to know to help land you that dream job. Coming out of a private university with big dreams, but empty pockets. AnimSchool was a great option in terms of affordability without sacrificing quality.
At first, I was a bit nervous to take online classes, but learning what you love in the comfort of your own home is even better than I had expected. Classes are small and you really get to connect with your instructors and peers and have plenty of time to go over individual assignments during critiques. I’m very excited for my future classes as there is still much to learn.
They not only show you how to be a professional, they will inject the energy you need to become one.
Just had an amazing class with Dave and Tony Bonilla. Man Dave is like an encyclopedia. Tha'ts why I love animschool.
In the long years of school, no teacher had impacted me. Do not judge, they did the best they could, but none grabbed the attention of a youth hungry for adventure and new experiences, wanting to feed my neurons. I needed a different kind of educator.
That image of teachers totally changed when I came to Animschool. They not only show you how to be a professional, they will inject the energy you need to become one. THANK YOU ALL

I love the experience of working on cool assignments full of learning and having Industry teachers to critique our work, giving us good notes and direction. It is amazing the amount of time that Animschool puts into every students’ work. I wish this experience would never end. But someday I will have to graduate from the school and I am pretty sure I will be prepared to face this amazing and challenging industry.

I've learned more in six months at Animschool than four years of my degree.
The instructors are among the most talented animators in the world.
Teachers are the best, they are top notch professionals and they teach you a real workflow. They teach you how to think like an animator.
I've only been in AnimSchool for 3 months, but all of the people have been great from the beginning. There is a friendly atmosphere between all of the students and teachers, not just restricted to your classmates. It is an entire community of students and teachers.
I'm very happy I decided to expand my knowledge with AnimSchool. It is the best decision I have made in a long time..

It still feels like a dream, that I cannot and do not want to wake up from.
AnimSchool seemed like a dream that was out of my reach. When I got a job as a 3D animator I saw this as a step closer to my dream of becoming a proffesional animator. Applying to AnimSchool was like one of the most exciting moments of my life. Finally I was able to learn from the best!

I expected a lot from AnimSchool when I joined it, like great teachers who would show us how to do stuff the way the pros do, they would guide us and give us helpful and precise advice on how to make things look better, and was even expecting them to share their secrets and tricks with us.
However, what I didn't expect from an online school, was how close and friendly everybody got. It's a lovely bonus that you get on top of an already amazing package!

Animschool is the greatest way to reach my biggest dream of being an animator! It doesn’t matter where you live, you are always connected to great people and animators around the world!

High intensity animation training taught by the right teachers!
Looking at the assignments I really had no idea what to expect or how I would approach it, but with AnimSchool’s way of learning and teaching the program they’ve made the process so much easier. One of the many great things about AnimSchool is the instructor’s level of involvement in the assignments. AnimSchool’s instructors get fully involved in students assignments, from the thinking and planning stage right through to the polish phase of the animation. This level of involvement to me has become very beneficial to my learning and I soon started to thinking and ANIMATING like a professional animator.
You can tell your instructors are as emotionally invested in your shots as you are! Their always constantly asking about your shot’s progress, willing to download and open your scene infront of the class for everyone’s benefit. Their constantly supporting and motivating you through the tough times, it really does feel like a friendly team environment.

The characters and the rigs are all top profesional levels.
Anytime you have a question, or if something is not working for you, they literally respond in less than 10 minutes.
I had seen [another school] but the price made it hard for me to attend. When I saw Animschool I thought (at that time) that it was going to be the poor man's version of it, and it is not until you attend that you see that it is anything but that.
Even though it’s an online school it feels like a whole community of people who I have never met before but became really good friends with.
I am originally from India but living in Dubai. I started AnimSchool approximately 6 months back when I saw their name come up on Google. I was looking for a school teaching specifics rather than a generalist program, thus I joined their Character Program.
After starting I can’t believe I have made the best decision of my life. The teachers are amazing and they teach us sooo perfectly and to the point.
I would recommend each and everyone who wants to learn animation, modeling or rigging, to join AnimSchool for sure, as it’s simply the BEST!

The improvement rate that I’m going through right now is definitely amazing.
This school is kind of special to me, because after many years struggling with financing my animation studies, Animschool came at the right point in my life.
I am from Africa, and the economic situation is not that good down here. Animschool is the only online animation school in the world that I know that offers need-based scholarships to students, whatever country they live in. They offer people the chance to learn animation from the best animators you can possibly think of.
Besides that, the program is based on direct interaction with teachers, spending more than 4 hours a week with a mentor whose names appear in your favorites movies.

It is almost 4am and I am still awake working on AnimSchool assignments. Not because it's more work than I can handle. AnimSchool is a great online school to use as tool to learn from great professionals in the actual animation industry...
...having the opportunity to interact with them and maintaining professional relationships with all the students.
And at the end, having many sources and utilities to keep learning animation without getting lost in this hard profession.

It is exactly what I have needed and exactly what I’ve been looking for to push my animation to a higher level.
The attention I have been given has allowed me to quickly hone in on animation principles that have needed more attention. I have also learned things about animation principles that I had never considered before. To be able to get to the heart of these issues as quickly as we have has saved me a lot of precious time and money.
The people at AnimSchool have been encouraging, supportive, honest, personal, and down-to-earth. They have treated me with respect, and have expected a lot from me. Because of that, I feel much more confident in my reel these days, and it’s just going to get better from here.

When I heard about AnimSchool I did not want to miss the opportunity to be a part of it!
The live classes were great and full of interactions because it’s all live and anybody can jump in the discussion and ask a question at any moment. My instructor really helped me improve my animations skills and was always ready to spend a lot of time explaining advanced concepts, giving a different view on my ideas, drawing over my shot and basically sharing his knowledge...Which is awesome!
Having a top pro looking at your stuff and pointing you what’s good and what’s not really is the best way to learn and gain confidence! On the technical side, all went pretty smooth and people were reacting fast to any question or problem we may have. And I gotta say that the character I worked with was super appealing and the rig was well built and easy to use, as soon as I saw it I had a ton of ideas in mind to make it come to life! I had a great time here, and I’m sure you will!
My time at AnimSchool has been invaluable.
Nathan and Dave both went the extra mile to ensure that every student got the most they could out of our time together. I can’t stress enough how wonderful it has been hear feedback on my work and receive guidance on how I can better myself from people who really strive to make the lessons personal. I went to a university for four years studying digital media, but I feel I’ve learned more in my short time at AnimSchool about the ART of animation.
I feel like I know how to begin thinking about a scene and what to keep in mind at each stage as I progress, where before I was always just trying to “feel” it out. Thank you to Nathan and Dave, and to all my classmates. This was an amazing experience.

I actually just finished with their beta class. AnimSchool is definitely top notch! Something special is to be said about a school so focused on character appeal.
Nathan Engelhardt (Blue Sky) was the instructor for the term. Not only is Nathan an incredible animator himself, but most importantly he knows how to teach animation. He views your work as though it’s his own, and you learn so much from just being able to follow his own thought process through a shot. It’s the hardest kind of teaching to find. His passion for teaching others quality animation is unmeasurable. Thanks for being so inspiring!
On top of Dave Gallagher’s character wisdom, I don’t think there could be a better group of people to learn this stuff from.
The rigs are top notch, and have very similar controls/setups to those used in feature productions. they’re usable, functional, and very forgiving. they have all the necessary controls plus the advanced stuff so your not stuck fighting the rig in any part of your workflow. If you seriously wanna learn this stuff, check them out!
It was great to be able to ask questions from an animator that worked/works on animated films you enjoy.
The live critiques were great. Due to the software AnimSchool uses, you can see all of your classmates together and sometimes it doesn’t feel like an online class.

My experience with AnimSchool was really great.
Receiving animation critiques every week from top level artists such as Nathan And Dave really made a difference to improve the level of my animation.
I felt like if I were working on a major Animation Studio, being directed by an excellent professional, helping me to push forward the boundaries of my animation skills in order to reach the feature quality. Nathan and Dave were always available, being enthusiastic and positive about every student work, making them feel confident and willing to achieve a better result.
I really recommend AnimSchool.
With all these great teachers involved in this project, I really believe AnimSchool is on track to be among the best animation schools.
