Working Instructors

Thom is an experienced character animator working professionally for over 15 years. Getting started in animation at Mainframe Entertainment he soon made the jump to feature VFX at Rhythm & Hues where he worked on Academy Award winning projects like "The Golden Compass" and other blockbuster features such as "The Incredible Hulk" and "Happy Feet". Making the transition to animated features in 2008 with a jump to Blue Sky Studios where he spent over 12 years as a senior animator and earned an Annie Award nomination for Character Animation for the film "Epic". Thom is currently an animator at Skydance Animation. In addition to his film work, Thom has been an AnimSchool instructor for over 10 years and looks forward to working with new students just getting started on their own animation journeys or helping wherever they might find themselves on the road.
